No display! From gpu

I'm having a problem and need help, I just build a computer and from the beginning everything will start and work but no display on monitor I try everything I could different cables I also try a different video card but still the same it does not show on bios or Windows device manager I try to install drivers to are if that would fix it but drivers won't install said that there is no Nvidia gpu install, what could be the problem??? I dunno what else to do

if u remove the gpu and use on board graphics will it give u the spash screen and boot into window and display>

is it a new or used motherboard? could be a bad pcie slot. also check your backplate that none of the tabs above usb ports are inside them. i had a motherbord fry becuase of that. and make sure there arent any stand offs under your motherboard. i fixed a machine that had that once.
