No Display gtx 970 Gaming 1

I recently build a new system and used an old monitor, no problems. I bought a new monitor and If I turn off my monitor and turn it back on it gives me no display and says no signal detected. I am forced to restart computer several times to get image back to the monitor. Once display is on there are no problems as long as I don't turn off the monitor again. I have read there is a bios update but when I go to Gigabyte page they are listed as F3, F13, F42 and F51. How can I determine which F version my card is?

Also I returned monitor and card with the same products thinking it was hardware issue but the problem remains. I have even reinstalled the OS.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/run-directx-diagnostic-tool then you can see your BIOS version i newer update BIOS i read somewhere if your BIOS update fail your motherboard become a brick.dont wanna scare you but you wanna leave BIOS update to last!.

I am talking about my graphics card bios, not the motherboard.

There are a lot of display outs on that card, try plugging the monitor into one of the right ports (the left ports are designed more for triple monitor stuff).

I have tried different ports and connection types with the same result. my bios version is 84.04.28.00.4D. But when I look here
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5209&dl=1&RWD=0#bios it shows updates based on the F version I have. How can I tell?

Thank you Kap however it just says "go here" without any link or idea of where "here" is. I did manage to find the site thru trial and error but it shows old Bios, not the newer one listed on Gigabytes site. Can anyone please tell me how to find what F version I have?

cant find what your looking for,maybe just flash the VBIOS helps solve the problem.
