No Display on Laptop or Monitor (HDMI)

Hey, so the issue I have is a little ridiculous. The display from my laptop to my 65in Mitsubishi HD TV was working fine earlier; however, I noticed that the TV was trimming off the sides of the display and thus I thought we had set the resolution incorrectly in the laptop.

Also, we'd checked the "use display 2" setting when plugged into HDMI so that the display only appeared on the TV.

The problem arises when we were fiddling with the and checked 1024x728 and hit save. The TV suddenly went black and while we can hear sound, there is no display.

It's a tricky situation because we'd previously set the setting so that the display would only appear on the TV, but now the display is gone from the TV.

Hello... plug your laptop into a standard computer monitor to get a picture back... a TV input is not as adaptable to Multi PC type of settings changes as a Computer monitor.
