A brief description of my problem:
When I power up my custom built PC everything lights up and all the fans start spinning. My monitors detect a signal as I am able to select it in the input menu. The only thing different to 'normal' is that the fan of the GPU revs up, like it is trying to work, but then revs down, constantly.
My only theory is that the GPU was shocked and killed by static, and other people have suggested the cause is a dead GPU. I would really appreicate hearing you guys' thoughts and any suggestions to a fix.
Also too note, I have tryed replacing the gpu, starting the computer with nothing plugged into the GPU. My mobo doesnt have any video outputs so I cant try onboard graphics.
Thanks in advance for any help!
