no display output on the ASUS HD 7970 DIRECTCU II

Graphics card is powered by the Corsair TX-750 power supply with it's 60A +12VDC single rail. Graphics card powers up, all fans spinning, but no video output on neither of the DVI ports. Why?

Have you tried the HDMI port? If none of the ports work, most likely you have a faulty card as you have plenty of power. My 7970 worked right out of the box.

Thanks for your suggestion, although there is no signal-out whatsoever, despite the fact that the card powers on fine, and spinning fans, although MOBO BIOS beeping away alerting me that there is a defective display card connected.

Seems the card has 'died' and that ASUS agrees with me that it's defective., Now, that's a real shame on something well engineered in all aspects and being my very first ATI/AMD peripheral ever purchased!

OMG ASUS, what an embarrasment!!

I hope I get a replacement.
