No display randomly?

Was playing over watch beta with my friends (great game by the way) and my monitor went black. Searched for display ports and it said no signal. Completely random. Wasn't downloading or updating drivers, my card just stopped working and so did my sound to the game but not to teamspeak. So I could talk to my friends but see nothing. This has happened a few times like 4 months ago and now it is starting again. Why? I'm so confused, if it is my GPU I have a warranty and can get a replacement if need be

Well it could be fault wire to think about as well but for now try to recreate the situation with another cable. It's what I would do just to double check on everything

It restarted normal and everything seems fine. I just don't get it. I am using another cable now and will write back the results
