No display to monitor, diagnosing the issue

Hello everyone!
I have recently built a new computer, (components list below), and a while back tried to boot the PC for the first time, to no avail. All the lights and fans spool up, and yet, no display on the monitor. Some concerns I have is that in trying my GPU in one of the PCI-E slots on my motherboard, the fans on the GPU do not spin, yet when i move the GPU to a different PCI-E slot, the fans work. But still no display. This leads me to believe the motherboard is the issue. I wanted to rule out the GPU being an issue, so i called my buddy over and he had brought his home built PC. I swapped my GPU into his PC, and his PC still worked fine. So i ruled out the GPU being an issue. We did the same with the RAM, and it still worked in his PC. We thought that because i was getting no beep codes that my mobo speaker was broken, so we put his working one in my motherboard, and still no beep codes from my motherboard. We got a replacement on the mobo, and am waiting for it to ship in. Any further suggestions on what the problem may be?

Parts:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 6 core black edition
motherboard: Asrock fatality 970
HDD: seagate 1TB 7200RPM
PSU: corsair 750 - non- modular
RAM: hyperx 2 x 4gb sticks 1866
Case: NZXT phantom 530 full tower

Thank you guys for both of your opinions, and I will put them both to the test after the new motherboard comes in😀 I to think this is a mobo problem because of the tests we have put the old mobo through. My only concern is that because all the fans seem to be spinning with the parts connected to the motherboard, (cpu and gpu), that the old motherboard may not have been DOA. Is it possible for a motherboard not to work, but send power to the parts?

Hello everyone!
it turns out my original prediction was correct, the faulty part was the motherboard. i received the new one in the mail today, popped it into my rig and BAM! it started right up into the BIOS. To anyone out there with the same issue as i, even if the motherboard is faulty, it may seem as though it is not dead. What i mean by this is, on the dead motherboard, all the fans were spinning in the parts connected to the motherboard and it seemed as though the problem was elsewhere. So in conclusion, the motherboard was in fact dead. Thank you guys for your concern in helping me further my search for the problem if the new motherboard was not the reason that i received no display to the monitor.
Tally Ho!
