No display while connecting gpu to monitor.

I have got a gpu from my friend its ati x1600pro when i installed it in my motherboard msi g31tm-p21 and connected my monitor to the gpu via dvi-i to vga adapter it shows no signal.

I have intel E5400 processor and i has no integrated graphics and my mobo has intel gma3100 gpu.

I tried to install the ati catylist drivers but it keeps saying no graphics hardware found.

I tried switching my primary graphics to pcie and still no relief.

I have a 450w power supply and i think its enough. My gpu fan is also spinning.

Also tried to disable integrated graphics and tried to install it and still no luck.

Help will be appreciated. (Sorry for bad english)

Intel E5400 processor

My psu is 450w but i cant read the brand.
My cpu does not have graphics so my pc take graphics from mobo graphics are intel gma3100.

I have done everything. Setting up bios to pcie from internal.
Disabling display adapter and installing ati catylist and it says cant detect graphics hardware.
Also tried to reinstall the windows but no relief.
Help will be appriciated.(sorry for bad english)
