So I purchased a Yottamaster external RAID / JBOD box that connects to my PC (Win 11) via USB C. I purchased a USB C card from Amazon and installed it.
Looking at Device Manager in Windows, it appears that both the RAID box and the USB card are being recognized, however, Disk Manager isn't seeing any drives.
To head off the obvious question, yes, it's turned on and plugged into power and the PC

I didn't read carefully your post, that you used an adapter, you may need to initialize the drives and format them outside the enclosure.
I saw this in their setup notes:

Q11: Why can't my computer detect the device ?

a.Please check whether the power indicator light is on normally. If not, please contact us via Amazon or email(supports@yottamaster.com).
b.Please try to replace the data cable to see if the device can work normally. NOTE: The device must be directly connected to your computer, and cannot be connected via a usb hub.
c.Please check if any hard disk indicator turns red. If it appears red, it means that the hard disk is damaged. Please turn off the device, remove the hard disk at the position corresponding to the red light, and then restart the device.

Well, it's a brand new USB C cable (DATA, not just charging.) And it plugs into a USB C card in my PC, so I'm not really using an adapter. I do see a blue light on one of the drives, no lights on the other three

Also, the instructions suggest partitioning/formatting once the drives are detected
