Hello. I know there is already a lot of threads about this and I've tried a lot of the solutions but none have worked.

I just bought a XFX Radeon HD 7870 Tahiti LE graphics card but I can't get the HDMI to display anything through the card, but the PC is booting to Windows and I've checked it using the mobo's HDMI port.

The rest of my setup is a Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 mobo, AMD FX-6100 3.3GHz processor, 2x 4GB DDR3 Crucial Ballistix RAM, and a Coolmaster RS-500-PCAP-I3 500W PSU.

I'm upgrading from a XFX Radeon HD 6670, which I've had no problems with and it does still work, so I'm guessing there's not anything wrong with the rest of the setup. And I've checked the BIOS and it is set to use PEG opposed to the onboard graphics.

My monitor only has HDMI and VGA so I can't test to see if its the whole card or only the HDMI port.

Please help?

Thanks

Have you tried plugging the monitor cable to the DVI Port on your graphics card? Does your card has a 6-pin or 8-pin power connector? I've had a HD 6770 in the past and never noticed the 6-pin and i faced the similar problem. If still not working, I would suggest you take it to the store where you bought to send back for warranty.
