No headset/mic sound

Hello,
I got my Gaming PC (Self-built, Win 10) 2 weeks ago, and it's working perfectly. The only issue I have is that whenever I'm in skype or Discord, my headset/mic doesn't work. I have the Turtle Beach Ear Force Recon 60P. When I make a call in skype it says theres a problem (When plugged into the headset hole. When I plug it into my mic hole I can only hear other people via my speakers, not my headset. And sometimes when people hear me, it sounds very weird as if I'm in another room. I'm not sure what to do, but it's kinda starting to bother me as I want to play and talk to my friends.

check page 10 of the headphones user manual for pc you need a splitter to have mic and headphones since the end plug is a 4 pins and the one on pc is 3 pins same for mike google it .

There's an adapter to use this headset on PC instead of Playstation..are you using the adapter?
What motherboard are you using?
Are you connecting the headset to the rear jacks of the computer, or front?
How do the speakers connect to the PC?

the splitter for pc is optionnal he have to buy it but some electronic store sell them .

Hi,

I don't know about the adapter, is it included in the box? I'm using the Asus ROG Z270F Motherboard. The headset is connected to the front, speakers in the rear i/o of the mobo.

i went on the maker link and there they tell us you need to get a adaptor for it on pc since there made for ps3 and ps4 .
