No Icons

Hey,
I was just wondering, I have built a computer for gaming and have all my desktop shortcuts set up for all my steam games. But everything has getting cluttered in my hard drive and so I tidied it up and put steam into a software folder and then for some reason, all of my shortcuts have no specific icon but instead are just this wierd picture, nits not just the games, steam has lists its icon aswell. Also it's not just a problem with steam, I had two games that weren't from steam and I put them into a 'games' folder and the same thing happened. So I put everything back exactly as it was before and it still wasn't fixed, and even deleting and recreating the shortcut doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Update and run a full anti-virus scan with your anti-virus software. Then download, update, and run a full scan with malwarebytes, free.

You can not move programs around on your disk. That will break all the links from shortcuts, ini-files and the registry. Right click on a shortcut and click on the change icon button. If you don't see the original icon there, the shortcut links to the wrong program.
