I removed all the fans from the radiator without paying attention to which cable goes where. As shown in the picture I sent, I know that one is meant to connect with the other fans as shown. But what is the connector with the 3 holes for, and what about the other connector with the 3 pins? Each of these connectors is on each of the three fans.

@punkncat there is no explanation on this site

@DRagor but I thought the daisy chain connection with the radiator was enough? Do I have to connect those 3 rgb things also with each fan? And fan? What does that mean? I thought the CPU pump fan header would control everything?

There is a bright teal link on the black background just to the lower right middle of the page with the spec sheet, manual, and documentation once you pick your socket. (and pick your cookie preferences, unfortunately)

What do you mean no explanation?

Sorry can't find it could you send a direct link or a pdf or something?

I was wondering if I even have to connect those 2 cables on every of the three fans or if it is enough to just daisy chain all the 3 fans with the radiator if I didnt want rgb?

The pump header does not control RGB. Nor should it control fans. Your motherboard should have separate fan and RGB headers, if you want to use fans with their own dedicated RGB inputs.

Although I've never used an AIO, it is my understanding the pump should be connected to one header, sometimes marked CPU_Pump and run at a constant +12V.

The radiator fans (all of them) should be plugged into a different mobo header, often marked CPU_Fan.

So I'd expect to use three mobo headers, CPU_Pump, CPU_Fan and RGB. You might have to use a header marked CPU_Aux if the CPU_Pump header does not exist.

I doubt if your motherboard is capable of running the pump motor plus 3 radiator fans on the same header. There's often a current limit of 1A per header and you might exceed this rating with 4 items connected (pump + 3 fans).

Your motherboard manual should explain the correct pump, radiator and RGB connections. Your link to the German Arctic web site doesn't work in my browser.

As for separate RGB lighting, I've never used it. Take care not to connect your RGB plugs into an incompatible mobo header or separate RGB control unit. You can damage RGB with the wrong voltages. If in doubt, leave the RGB disconnected and find someone local to help you. Better than killing your mobo or fans.

Ok so but I connected one in all pwm cable that apparently controls all and plugged it into the cpu header. That should control pump and rad fans right? Because there was a one in all cable which controls all and one with 3 connectors on it.
So the one in all cable should control rad and fans right?

And if I don't want rgb can I just let the fans leave unplugged , I mean the rgb cable? Because I didn't plug it in and besides the rgb the fans spin so it should work right?
