No input signal on my graphics card on Dell Optiplex 790

I have a pny gtx 750 and i have installed it in Dell Optiplex 790 .I am using a HDMI to vga connector in which I have installed a micro HDMI at the front of the HDMI .I have used this graphics card also on older machines.but it would give no input signal on Dell Optiplex 790.

It has to be an active converter. Just passive adapter won't do.

But it works on my older machines.please advice me if I should change my graphics card or I should buy a new converter.
