no internet access

Hi, my desktop has recently been acting up. it will connect to my internet but will eventually get to a point where it says "no internet access" im running windows 7 i recently got verizon fios and everything else on the network and stays connected. anyone know why it keeps stalling on me?

Tell me if im leaving out anything i really want to get this fixed 🙁

first thing to do is talk to your isp.a lot of times they can either talk you thru the fix or at least give you some pointers.thats assuming it isnt their problem in the first place,in which case they should still be able to help.

Ran a diagnostic tool, connection to my router was broken.

Did you run the basic "troubleshoot problems" when you right-click on your Internet connection in the system tray? If so, did it give you any errors?
