No internet after bios update

Need help fast.asus maximus ranger no internet after update of bios
Im using the asus maximus vii ranger as i mentioned.everything was working fine until i updated the bios .every computer phone tablet works perfect.my pc has no internet though.
The network icon shows its connected.i need my pc to work so any help would be much appreciated

Install your ethernet/LAN driver again and restart it should work fine

Did you install any other firewall? Some can do strange things!

Nope i just came home saw an update on asus software and did it.restarted and then this problem came up

So it wasnt the BIOS if you did it in windows, it was something else

What could it be then?before the bios update there was no prblem

But did it say it was a BIOS update when you installed it? If you updated it in windows?

Yes asus ez update.it lets u know for new updates and it said bios update

You have to be careful doing BIOS updates in windows. Sometimes they can brick a system, if things go wrong. But lucky it's an ASUS

I never had problems with asus before so it seems strange..is there a way i can go back to the prious bios version to check if thats really the problem?

And btw how can spotify and ping on goole workfine and nothing else works?pfff

If youre using internet explorer reset it see if that works
