Short and nice. When i turn on my PC after it's been shutdown completley (power core is off), it doesn't register there's a LAN cable plugged into the computer. (In the back of the MOBO obv). If i try to change the duplex to automatic, it sometimes goes to limited network instead of showing no internet at all.
What have i tried?
1. CHange IP address within and out of DHCP range.
2. Change my static IP address to automatic.
3. Reinstall network driver and bios through MSI's homepage.
4. Made sure i have the latest win10 update.
Did anything work?
The only solution as a temporarily fix was changing my IP, so it was out of DHCP range, but it started all over again after like 4 days?
Specs:
GPU: GTX 1070 MSI Gaming X (8G)
CPU: Intel core i7-7700k
MOBO: MSI z270 krait gaming
OS: Windows 10 (Pro)
PS: The LAN cable i use goes directley to a switch and the swtich is connected direcetley to the modem the internet comes from. It's a router / modem as in, it works fine like a router, but it's actually a modem.
I got other specs aswell obv, but that's the important ones, that i see relevant to the topic.
Router model: Icotera i6800. The first 3 ports is for the TV whereas the last is for PC (iPv4) and there's a switch connected to the iPv4 port that has 2 other LAN cable connected to it. 1 for actually giving the switch internet connection and the other is for my PC.
