Hi,
I am running two computers in a workgroup. Both have XP Pro SP2
installed. Computer 1 is the host, with DSL Cable modem connected to
LinkSys G series router. I have full internet connection here. I
cannot browse the network to see computer 2. Computer 2 has Linksys B
series wireless adaptor installed (USB) and shows connection to access
point, but no internet connection.
I have all firewalls turned off, except for the Linksys firewall. The
MAC address for computer 2 has been entered into the linksys filter.
If I hard-wire connect computer 2 to the linksys router, I have full
connection and browsing.
What do I need to do to computer 1 to allow it to see computer 2 when
configured as wireless?
I'm pulling my hair out on this one...it's probably something real
simple that I just haven't thought of. Any ideas and suggestions
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
John.
