No internet connection

I have my Verizon wireless hotspot on. Samsung smarthub says it's connected to device but not internet

"Wireless hotspot". Is this a 4G hotspot or are you referring to a router?

If it's a router, make sure that the router has a connection to the internet. Make sure that your router is receiving an internet connection through the DSL line or fibre-optic line. Make sure everything is plugged in correctly. Make sure that you have signed the router into your internet connection by using the username and password given by your ISP.

If it is 4G, make sure you have data. Make sure you have reception for 4G.
