My monk was near a lawful altar, was warned about something coming his way,
that something ended up being a lizard. The monk stood adjacent to the
altar and waited for the lizard to walk on the altar to meet its doom and
help convert an altar.

The lizard died and no corpse. What happened? I thought lizards always
leave corpses.

They do. My guess would be that it was a chameleon.

No. Lichen corpses don't, either. They just become too old to sacrifice,
but they'll still be edible.
