I have just installed xp home edition 2002 onto my computer only to find there is no LAN there's no Internet gateway there's nothing except create a new connection and the connection i created doesn't work how do i get online can i download sometime onto a usb stick and install it onto my computer so i can access a network or my ISP please help thanks

1, you need to id what brand model of network card you have

if its like an hp or dell or another name brand computer go to the site and search support for your model number and go to driver section and download driver

if its a custom build and network card is built onto motherboard go to motherboard site and download drivers for your motherboard,

if its an add in card power off computer and look for brand and model number on card and go to the brands website and download drivers for it

2. download drivers file and move to usb drive
3. put usb in new computer and run driver files setup then reboot
4. if connection not auto recognized rerun create new connection wizard.
