I have had an ongoing issue with my network connection for about a month now. It all begin after my computer was unplugged while it was running. After several days of trouble shooting I restored windows 7 using the last known good configuration. After the restore my network icon on the system tray showed a red x with no connections available. I attempted to reinstall drivers to no avail. After enabling and disabling the network connection I have internet access but it still shows a red x on the tray. Each time I go into sleep mode and wake up the computer I must disable and then enable the network connection before I am given internet access. To make sure it wasn't an issue with my network card I purchased an ethernet to usb 3.0 connector which I am currently using in lieu of the onboard network card. Anyways, I am just wondering what the issue might be. I would like to not have to disable and re-enable the connection each time I log on and to get rid of the red x over my network icon. Thanks in advance for your help!

It sounds like an Operating System bug, not to worry thought Skeez, you should fresh reinstall your Operating System and this will most likely fix the issue, make sure to back up your files and personal data before doing this.
