NO noise suppression option

Hello,
I have been recording for a few days using Audacity and Captivate. Suddenly my microphone stopped Noise Suppression and when I now open up the sound properties there isn't even a noise suppression enhancement listed! What??? What am I supposed to do?

You have 2 choices,

first - id attempt to re-install your device drivers for the microphone (visit the manufacturers website and download the latest drivers from there)

if that doesn't work - you could try a system restore. This will roll-back your system to whatever the listed time and date. It will change back the configuration settings to how it was at the specified time and date.


Note - not all systems will have restore points, it depends on your OS and if your computer is actually set up to create restore points before applying updates/changes.
