My mb have 4 sata ports and 2 are free,and i have one hdd and one dvd rw,so it means i can add 2 hdd's ? If so is there size limit too(like max. 2tb) ?? And will i need better psu for that ?? I have generic 300w psu.

Hey QAsker. Generally speaking, if you have 2 free SATA ports, then you could connect 2 more HDDs. But you'd have to provide a bit more info on your system if you want a more definite answer. It sounds like the PSU is not that powerful, but that depends on all other components of your system and their power usage as well. As for the 2TB limit, you'll have to give more info on the motherboard model and your OS.

From what you've given me in terms of info, with 2 more 7200RPM SATA HDDs, you'd need about 240-280W, which means that technically you would be able to use 2 more drives. Note that this is not a definite calculation and the wattage may vary.
As for the drive capacity, the OS you're using doesn't restrict your drives' maximum capacity, but you'll have to check if the motherboard has any restrictions concerning HDDs' maximum storage capacity. I'd recommend that you contact the motherboard's customer support and ask about that or find a user manual to see if it has any info on the subject.
