I am attempting to change my IP from Command Prompt and by entering ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew. After I enter, "ipconfig/release", I receive this message via CMD:

""No operation can be performed on Ethernet 2 while it has its media disconnected."

Help!!! I really need to change my IP. I am attempting this with a desktop which is wired into a Comcast modem/router. I have another PC in the house which is connected via wireless.

Yes, I believe so. I need to change the IP which is displayed by Teamspeak 3.

It sounds like the pc is disconnected at the time you want to change ip/ release ip . It must be connected to make the changes.
Is the cable plugged in ?

Does teamspeak use your local pc's IP, or the public IP of your ISP connection?
