No Optical Drive, How Can I Install AC1/2?

So, I want to play Assassin's creed 1 and 2 (I got the dual pack), but my optical drive isn't functional and I need a new one. I'm fresh out of cash, and that won't be happening for a while. I have another running computer, with a working optical drive, though, but I don't want to install the game on that computer.

Is there any way I can move all of the installation files from the main assassin's creed disk to a flashdrive or external hard-drive, then install it from there? Normally that sort of thing doesn't exactly work because you need the disk image mounted, and I don't really know how to do that. If that's how to do it, I'd really appreciate some help on doing so. I'm pretty tech savvy, so just let me know what to do.

Yes, create an ISO and put it on a USB-stick, I have no idea how the DRM works on a game dvd like that or if it even works.

I'd just temporarily move the drive to the computer you want to play the game on or see if you can add the game to steam by using the CD-Key supplied with your game.

So if I turn the files on the disk into a .iso file, I could mount it to my flashdrive and run it like that?
Can I mount a .iso to an external hard drive? I don't want to have to use the flashdrive every time I want to run the game.

Hello... You can connect any available optical drive to your MB with out mounting it... and install what you want, then put it back into your other computer... I just keep a optical drive around these days, un-mounted and use a USB adaptor with it, for install needs of all the Computers I use or work on... they seem to last longer not being Plugged into a MB, powered up and sitting idle, and not being used in most of my Computing Time. They are becoming a obsolete hardware device in everyday use, and I Use it now as a portable device.

The problem with this is that the game requires me to use the CD to run. Also, I don't have a spare optical drive that would connect to my motherboard.
