No option to revert to 8.1 after upgrading to 10

Pretty self explanatory. There's no option to revert to 8.1 (or anything besides a clean install) from start -> settings -> recovery.

I need to revert because my graphics card is having a whole list of problems with Win10 and i want to revert while these get figured out. Lost on what to do. Advice?

What option is there?
"Advanced startup"?
If that is the only one, you need to log in with an administrator account to unlock the other options.

I had that concern at first as well.

I have heard you just reload your VGA card drivers and don't do the driver upgrade offered on Windows 10 when your done. If you want to revert back to your old O/S you got 30 days then your key is invalidated. I'd think a clean install would be best.

You probably deleted it somehow via disk cleanup or deleting the old.windows folder off your drive.

I have a nvidia 745m gpu, and my issue with it was that I could not get past the device manager displaying error 43, and when I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, it now says the 745m drivers are not compatible and the installer closes.

I am logged in as an administrator. I have the option for Advanced Startup and Reset This PC, no options saying "go back to windows x."

Should I just do a clean install of Windows 10 and see if that works? Or will that permanently remove the option to revert?

How did you upgrade to Win 10? What specific steps?

From 8.1, I clicked the Windows 10 icon near the clock towards the lower right (the icon that appeared after reserving Win10), and followed the steps from there. I opted to keep my files. It went through the process and eventually popped up with Windows 10 on it, and that's pretty much it.
