Question No output from external gpu but getting output from internal gpu?

Hi everyone! So lets go straigt to the point....
I am using gtx 1060 on gigabyte b85m motherboard. I am having this problem sometime. But I somehow get rid of it. Sometime I don’t get any output from gtx 1060 at this moment if I connect cable on internal gpu then everything works fine. After using internal gpu for 1 or 2 hours if I use it again on gtx 1060 it works fine then. But yesterday nothing is happening. I only get output from internal no more output from gtx 1060. So what can I do now?

Provide more PC specs and details from your side. What's the make and model of your PSU ? Have you tried resetting/clearing the BIOS/CMOS settings to default ?

Is the GPU properly seated on the PCI-E slot, and are the PCI-E cables connected as well ? Do you have the latest BIOS version installed on this PC ?

BTW - you' re using terms internal/external wrong.

Intel iGPU is integrated GPU (obviously also internal).
GTX 1060 inside your desktop pc is discrete GPU (it is still internal).
For graphics card to be external, it has to be in an external box (connected via thunderbolt usually).
