No picture showing.

I just built a computer and no picture will show on screen. VGA, HDMI, DVI, none work. Is it the graphics card or something more serious? I placed the old graphics card in the new build to see if it would work and it did not work either! What have I done wrong?

Please list your full system specs in order for people to help you.

Without knowing anything about your system, I can only ask, have you provided power to your graphics card? Just inserting it in the PCI Express slot won't make it magically work, it needs power. Either 6 pin or 8 pin, unless you have something like 1050 Ti low profile ones, that don't have any power plugs and draw power from the Express slot.

Also, try and see if your cables work on integrated graphics by plugging an HDMI or other connector to your motherboard to rule out faulty cables (that is, if your processor has an iGPU).

I apologize.. Specs are as follows..

i5 6600 cpu
MSI Z270 Tomahawk motherboard
Crucial 8gb DDR4-2133 RAM (1 stick)
EVGA GTX 970 Graphics card (takes two six pins)
600 watt psu

I can't get any connection to work..Powers up fine but, EZ bug LED light keeps flashing back and forth on the motherboard. All fans work on case, gpu, psu and cpu cooler.. But, no picture...
