[SOLVED] No post after building a new pc

I recently bought the following components for my new pc build:

motherboard: Asus Prime B550 MK
CPU: Ryzen 7 5700g
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB pro 16 GB, 3600 MHz
SSD: Crucial P2M.22280, 500Gb

After I finished the build, it did not post. Cannot see anything on the moniter. I tried a cpu only boot, that did not post either. Reseating the CPU did not help either. Then I thought that there is a bios update needed, so I flashed the bios on a stick and placed it in one of the ports of the PC. That did not work either. Does someone know how to fix this problem?

Yes you probably need a bios update, you either have to buy a cpu that works with the base bios in order to see the bios installed correctly, or bring it to a computer shop and have them install the bios. Sorry to add your cpu needs bios 2403 to run, the base bios for the motherboard is 0202
