Hey guys. I recently built a new pc and I been having some issues flashing the bios.
But first my build:
Mobo: Gigabyte B650M AORUS ELITE AX ICE
CPU: Ryzen 9 9900X
GPU: 4080 Super
RAM: 2 x 32GB DDR5
PSU: 1000w
Anyways. I feel like I did everything right to flash the bios.
I got the bios update on the fat32 USB, renamed the file to GIGABYTE.bin
plugged it in the the USB connector thats on the far side from the ethernet.
PC is on standby mode. I press the q+flash button it starts blinking orange rapidly and then slows down and stops blinking after about 5 mins.
This sounds successful to me I think. But when I reboot it never POSTs and the cpu error light stays on no matter if I clear cmos or whatever.
Also the pc seems to be on a boot loop every 10-15mins. Just restarts all on its own whether or not I've tried to flash it.
I've tried plugging in a monitor to the mobo instead of the graphics card as well.
All the fans and lights come on like the pc is ready to go. Just no POST and a cpu error light
Someone would be my lifesaver if they know a trick. I've been trying a lot of things
