Question No POST after restart

Computer starts up fine from shut down, however whenever I try to restart my computer it gets past the blue restarting screen and then after attempting to restart my screen goes black no POST no bios screen, nothing, but power is still on with fans running. Any idea what this can be and how to fix this?

What are your full PC specs including the make and model of the PSU? What OS do you have?

Do you have a discrete graphics card or you get picture from motherboard output?

If it's Windows I'd suggest opening up an elevated command prompt and running System File Checker to check for errors. That is right click on cmd and click 'Run as administrator'.

The command to run in CMD would be "sfc /scannow" without the quotes.

All good, I actually just took cmos battery out for 10 minutes, popped it back in and it now restarts like normal. On to my next problem. Thanks for the reply though!
