No RAM to boot

Hi everybody, I am doing my first computer build and accidentally ordered incompatible RAM for my mobo. I would like to know if it's possible to see if the computer at least works without a random access memory module installed.

all it will do is just a beep or series of beeps about no ram.

No it will not

Yes they will. Peripherals will boot, but the CPU will not. You'll be presented with an error code on the motherboard. This will be displayed on an LCD/LED screen, or audible via the speaker
