I took my motherboard out of my NZXT Phantom 630 case and placed it on a piece of plywood for some measurements. Before I took it out:
>Turned off my computer
>Held power button for ~10 seconds to drain any power left in the computer
>Turned the PSU switch to OFF
>Unplugged power cord from PSU
>Grounded myself on my computer case
>Removed MOBO
I then put it back and plugged everything in. Nothing. No beeps, no fan movement, nothing.
Things I've tried:
>Tested PSU with paperclip and with my case fans, it worked
>Connected/disconnected/reconnected 24 pin power connectors to MOBO. They seat correctly.
>Hooking up just MONO to PSU, same thing: nothing.
>Resetting CMOS battery and testing it. It is almost fully charged.
I'm at a loss here...just can't figure it out. I never heard or saw a spark when I touched it, and nothing smoked or anything...I've taken this thing out around 4 or 5 times, so it's not like I don't know what I'm doing. I need some help, guys. Anything would be great. I also have re-switched the PSU switch; it's ON.
