Discussion No sales tax applied?

I recently bought an RTX 5070 TI from MSI's website and it did not charge me taxes. What other websites have this?

This is a rather broad question. Applying sales tax , or not, largely depends on where the seller and buyer are located. While you weren't charged, someone in another jurisdiction likely was charged sales tax.

Nope. Buyer location is definitely a factor. States caught on to missing sales tax incomes and changed the rules. It varies widely.

And the posted prices are only a "summary".

Basically indicating that there is no Fed Ex Home delivery charge.

Once buyers get to where a credit card number (or some form of payment) is required there may be a "surprise" added in the form of taxes and/or delivery charges.

Details, including buyer location, matter.
