Just completed a fresh build and have run in to some unexpected issues.
The monitor always shows no signal after every single restart and I have to hold the power button and then press on for it to come on and while it does this it shows 00 on the motherboard.
On top of that, every now and then when I start it up, it shuts off after a few seconds then restarts it's self and runs fine.
Everything seems to be plugged in the right slot. I have a feeling that it could be faulty ram, going to try taking out one stick at a time to figure out if any of them is the cause.
My specs are:
Cpu: 4790k 4ghz
Ram: teamxtreme 2666mhz 16gb
Gpu: EVGA superclocked gtx 980
Psu: Corsair rm650.
Motherboard: Asus maximus hero vi.
When the pc is running it runs perfectly. Just doesn't like to be restarted.
UPDATE: just did a bios update to 1603 and still having the same issue and the same code on the motherboard.
Really hope you guys can help me, hope the motherboard isn't fooked.
