So I shipped my computer because I moved to another state, when I got it the hard drive some how was dangling but I put it back. After connecting everything I get no signal to the monitor. I plugged the monitor to another computer and it worked. Could it be the psu or motherboard that's dead? All fans turn on even the cpu fan on top of the heat sink. I removed both ram sticks and even removed hdd but I get no beeps at all so I am leaning more towards the motherboard but not sure. It just doesn't sound like it used. When I turned it on back then u could Def hear it turn on. Now it's just extremely quiet with all fans turning on and everything lighting up. Gpu is kind of new so hopefully it isn't that. Could be the mobo especially since I'm not getting no beeps? I also tried doing the cmos reset.

Solution
pull the mb. with one ram stick see if the mb will post. if no post see thta the cpu still locked down into the cpu slot. look on the mb see if any of the caps are ripped off and sitting in the bottom of the shipping box.
Hey there,

Try reseating everything on the board, GPU and CPU too. PSU shouldn't be dead from moving (no obvious damage to shipping box?). High end system builders ship complete systems with expanding foam in side the case so things don't come lose.

Good luck

I would try and unplug and replug everything back into the mothjerboard.. but it sounds like if the hard drive was just hanging there the computer got beat up in shipping.. it could have damaged the motherboard!! with it hanging

Sorry doctor Rob, I meant to up vote your comment. It won't let me undo my vote 🙁 but yes doctor Rob that's what I was thinking as well. As far as jai, I will try that as well and get back to yall.

I took off everything and put it back and nothing. Even with the keyboard on and not being able to see anything I'm pressing anything I can and I hear nothing. When I plug in my mouse it lights up though, same with headphones, the lights on the headphones light up. Not sure if that matters. Anyone know what an average cost is to take to a shop for diagnostics? If they tell me what it is I can buy the parts and do it on my own.
