Monitor receives a "No signal detected" when trying to enable 144hz. If I drop it down to 120hz it works fine.

EVGA 980TI Hybrid
BenQ xl2730 1440p 144hz

Tried clean install for drivers, made sure they are all up to date as well. Tried different displayports on back of GPU, 3 different cables. Made sure it's the only display connected.

Solution
It may be a problem with your monitor or graphics card. It may also be the Windows setting for the refresh rate in your Windows Display.

The GTX 980 Ti does support 144Hz monitors. It does require either a DisplayPort or Dual Link DVI-D monitor cable (a very few accept HDMI).

Try unplugging the monitor power cord and monitor cable for a few minutes. That will rest the monitor to manufacturer defaults.
