This is a REAL challenge. It seems to be a hand-shaking issue and I am open to suggestions

I have an ordinary PC (HP 64-bit, running Win 10 PRO 22H2, fully up-to-date) with an iNTEL HD Graphics 4600 (also up-to-date according to iNTEL).

I have the HDMI output through a switch to my desk monitor and to my bedroom monitor for watching movies. I also have the VGA output connected to a monitor in a cloned configuration.

This has been working fine for months UNTIL I had to reload WIN 10 in July.

NOW everything seems fine EXCEPT when I switch the HDMI output switch to my bedroom monitor, the monitor reports "no signal".

BY way of diagnosing the ptoblem, I have replaced the PC output with my wife's laptop and the video works fine, going to my desk monitor or to the bedroom, through the swirch! So the cabling is fine, the switch is fine (I have replaced it with a new switch to test), and I am at my wit's end. I have also tried changing the resolution.

I have a feeling that I am missing some video software on my PC since the new WIN 10, but I can't find any.

CAN SOMEONE PEASE HELP??

Many thanks,
--Terry

Can you please specify the model and SKU to your HP prebuilt system? As for the switch, have you made sure you've installed all drivers pertaining to your prebuilt, manually, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

Got a link to the switch you speak of?

Did you install the OS in offline mode?
