I just bought a new motherboard (z170a gaming pro), a new processor (i7-7700k) and new ram (corsair vengeance lpx 2*4gb ddr4 2400mhz) for a new build. I connected everything properly and started up my new PC, everything was going fine except neither of my monitors have signals. I tried looking it up online but I didn't find any answers so I made this thread to hopefully fix my issue. Any help is greatly appreciated!
(Btw my mobo has this thing called EZ debug LED which indicates the status of the motherboard, when I boot up my PC the led indicating CPU lights up for about 0.2 seconds and dram lights up for 5 seconds. Does that have anything to do with it?)

Solution
Your z170 needs a bios update prior to the installation of the 7700k.
You can do the following:
1. Return the motherboard and get a z270 chipset board.
2. Install la skylake cpu so yo ucan then update the bios to support your 7th gen kaby lake.
