Question No signal problem

Hey! My friend had trouble getting no signal on the screen. He then sold the RAMs to me. When I connected them everything worked fine. After a while I got the same no signal problem. I tried to restart and it worked. It happened about four times but I just restarted. Then the restart stopped working so I googled the problem. I then found to take out the RAM and put it back in worked. The computer stopped randomly causing no signal problems. Only when I started the computer did I have to fix it with RAM. I did it for about half a year but now it is no longer working. I tried to switch power but it did not work. My friend changed the motherboard and now it works for him. I have a red and white cable loose with a molex adapter that may have something to do with it. What should I do?
