So when this started my computer would turn on and then turn itself off again. If by some miracle it stayed on the fans would make a horrible noise when they were spinning.
I figured my psu had reached the end of its day so I got a new one but as soon as I installed it, the gpu started to spark.
I replaced this with an old gpu I had and it started fine, the computer was on and the fans were silent.
The problem is now the monitor doesn’t get a signal from the desktop.
Could this have broken my motherboard? Or messed up the cables?
I have tried looking at it but can’t figure it out so any help is appreciated.
Specs:
Gpu - Zotac GTX 960 (RX 570 is the one that sparked)
CPU - AMD FX 6300
Ram - (not sure the brand) 2x8gb
Mother board is an ASRock but I don’t know the model
Psu - 650w EVGA 80 plus gold
