no sound after shutdown

Hi,

I am running a windows 10 pc with auzentech home theater hd sound card. when ever i start my computer after shutdown i don't get any sound. sound card/drivers are detected but there is no sound. when i restart sound comes back. this happens after every shutdown.

Can you guys please suggest how to resolve the issue. Thanks in advance

Check your audio output selection in the "Sound" controls. Easy way to find is Windows Key, then type Sound. Make sure the speakers are selected. My Windows 10 install has changed the output from my speakers to my monitor several times. I do not know why, especially since the monitor does not have speakers. It has not happened enough to cause me to investigate. I just change it back to the speakers.
