Question No sound coming from left speaker when the aux cable is plugged into motherboard

There is no sound coming from the left speaker when the aux cable is plugged into the mb, this stopped working earlier today I don't know what happened. When I plug it into the aux port on the front of the pc the audio name changes to "Headphones" and the audio comes from both speakers, but I want the aux to go from the back of the mb. What is the issue?

Can you name me what the aux cord is connected to and same with the headphone jack.
If you have ports for your audio and microphone id highly recommend connecting it to the case ports instead of the motherboard.
If that still doesn't work go into control panel, in search look up sound, then under playback right click on the current headphone jack or aux cord is connected and click properties. After that in the general tab you will see the aux cord name the controller information and the jack information. When you see it tell me what it says under jack information. if it says L next to the green port color or what ever color you have then use a different port. The default should say L R.
