[SOLVED] No sound even if it shows that there is

Today I have encountered this problem. When i have turned on my computer everything was completely normal like every time. When i was about to listen to some music I noticed that theres no sound, I increase the volume, still nothing, check if it's muted. no it's not,it's at full volume but nothing is playing. Weirdest thing i have noticed is that it actually shows that nothing is wrong with sound, that it's working and is on full volume. What could this be, I have never encountered this before.

I have tried front connection still no sound, most of the time it was connected at the back.

I would try plugging something else into your sound card. See if a different set of speakers or headphones will work.

Are you using a sound card? If you are, try using motherboard audio instead and see if you get any sound.

I have completely unplugged the sound card, waited a couple of minutes and it works.
