No sound from my TV card

I recently installed Windows 7. I have an Aver media TV card Phone 98 which was working without a problem with XP until now. During the installation Windows 7 went online, found the drivers for Aver Media Tv card and installed them. But now, i have no sound coming from the tv card. I have picture on all channels but no sound. I have my old system XP backed up as image, so tried to put it back too see what is going on, and the TV card was working again with sound and all. Back to windows 7, and again no sound.
What can or should i do?

Have you tried it in media centre?, also check that it does not get muted in volume mixer and you may need to get an updated version of whatever software that card uses so check Aver's website.

Thanks, I tried Media Center, but it did not even see the card. And tried avermedia web page, still no joy...

You may only have XP drivers available for that card at the moment. http://www.nodevice.com/driver/company/AVerMedia/TV_Tuner.html
Fingers crossed W7 drivers turn up soon.

Yesterday Asus put new sound drivers for my mainboard, supporting windows 7. And sound from my TV card started to function again.
