No Sound in Broforce Game And VLC player

Okay sorry if this was already answered or something.

Lets come to the point directly.
I was playing broforce all day with my friend last day and the very next day suddenly it got muted (no sound) and in fullscreen mode there are annoying borders also.
i tested everything, Realtech HD Audio drivers and also reinstalled the game still no luck 🙁
Blue Borders look like this

Other games work fine (AC Unity, Expendabros, etc)
I also checked for mediaplayers hoping my 5.1 sound enhancements might be causing problems & found VLC player was also showing the same Borders & No sound problem too. I solved it by unistalling and installing older version then installing newer version over it. 😉

But no luck with the game till now. 🙁
Any help will really be appreciated.

did the game accidentally switch compatibility mode? right click exe file > properties > compatability

Idk :/, here is the Screenshot of the Compatibilty Tab.

I tied with the different version and now it is working!
