Question No sound in Microsoft Edge ?

Recently I've been troubleshooting a sound issues from websites and it was suggested that I reset Edge. Well in doing so I lost any sound at all from Edge. Other browsers seem fine and also is playing through Windows Media Player. I tried another Edge reset to no avail. I also reinstalled Asus Sonic Studio 3. TIA

Is this a laptop or a desktop? Sonic Studio is a companion app, did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the audio drivers? When reinstalling said audio drivers, did you do so in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

Hi [B]Lutfij[/B], I solved the problem, it wasn't the drivers but a setting I didn't even knew existed in windows. It's under windows>settings>sound>advanced sound options. In there are volume settings for each app in windows, and Edge was set to 0 volume.

Apparently reinstalling drivers had no effect on them!! Thank you for the assist!!!
