No sound realtek BACK PANEL audio sound windows 7 blah

Its so frustrating I could kill myself.

On Realtek audio manager I only got front panel which have no sound EITHER!!

I can't turn on back panel nor bring sound to front panel....

One other thing I might try is:

Go to Control Panel > Sounds.

Select Digital Output and click on properties.

Select 'Don't use this device' from the drop-down menu under 'Device Usage'.

This should remove the S/PDIF device altogether. Perhaps the speakers will work now?

If not, then you may have to reinstall Realtek drivers in order to return the S/PDIF output to the list of devices.

Is this an on-board sound device?

Did you try Control Panel > Sound and set the default to something other than S/PDIF?

Does the volume control appear ain the Task Bar to the left of the clock?

Right -click on it and select the Mixer.

Is there anything there that is muted?
