No Sound Whence Gaming

Good day to you all,
I have such a dilemma as to I can't here sound in half the games I play. These games should include Call of Duty, Battlefield 4, Bioshock Infinite among others. Whilst I accrue sound in the vast majority of games I tend to play, only recently has this plagued me, essentially games downloaded recently. Any solutions?

I've found out the Audio Service is not running, effectively negating all sound. How is this diagnosed? What solutions?

Weird.
I'd start by trying to reinstall the audio drivers, but there could be something else going on.

You can follow this link for Realtek drivers and get the suitable 64-bit package (unless you have a sound card or other solution):

If you don't have Windows 10 you might want to consider upgrading.

Other:
Going to an earlier RESTORE POINT can help:
1) make a restore point now
2) Rollback to the FIRST one just PRIOR to the problem
